The downsized alder body and 24” scale length make it comfortable for smaller players or those who enjoy jumping around a lot on stage. The Mustang’s reputation as a "student model" has long vanished thanks to indie rockers like My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and many more.
This Mustang 90 stands apart from vintage Mustang’s courtesy of a pair of MP90 single coil pickups which can sing or snarl. These pickups have the clear and bell-like tones of traditional Mustang single-coils while also offering more output and midrange grunt, all controlled with the straightforward setup of master volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup switch. The comfortable C-shaped maple neck is ideal for players with smaller hands or those who use extended chord forms.
