The Slash J-45 Vermillion Burst electroacoustic guitar is part of the Slash Collection, which features popular Slash guitar models from his storied career in a more affordable Epiphone "Inspired by Gibson" finish.

The Round Shoulder model’s all-massive body is constructed with a Sitka spruce soundboard and mahogany back and sides. Glued to the mahogany neck is a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by mother of pearl position dots.

The strings are anchored via the GraphTech TusQ zero and saddle frets in Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and a figwood fingerboard. Slash’s signature features include a custom C neck profile, a flatter 16-inch fingerboard radius and signature bracing cap, and a "skully" design on the back of the headstock. The guitar’s stylish look is accentuated by the double-sided body binding and 1950s-style pickguard.

The sound system is provided by an LR Baggs VTC preamp with a sub-coil pickup and Volume and Tone controls in the instrument’s soundhole. The guitar is supplied in a case.
