Your Own Personal Mixer
The Session Cake is a powerful addition to any musician’s setup, providing an incredibly compact personal mixer and headphone amp for times when you don’t have access to your full rig. Designed with an incredibly small enclosure, and powered by two AA batteries, the Session Cake is the perfect tool for practising on the road and in places where load noise isn’t permitted. The L/R Hi-Z & XLR inputs allow you to connect keyboards, mics, and other digital instruments, with a gain control designed for dynamic microphones. The Aux-in port allows you to connect iOS devices to use as effectors, or to play along with your favourite tune via an audio device. This function also allows you to record directly into recording apps, making it perfect for times when inspiration hits.

A powerful feature of the Session Cake is the ability to connect up to 8 units together, allowing musicians to have full-blown jam sessions and rehearsals where everyone contributes to the mix. The addition of the ‘Me’ control knob ensures they each member can adjust the volume of their own part without affecting the other instruments in the session. This is perfect for times when you can’t quite hear your own or other people’s instruments.

The blue Yamaha SC-02 is a portable battery-powered audio mixer designed to provide a compact amplification and monitoring solution for musicians and vocalists practicing and recording at home or abroad. It features a mono XLR input for a dynamic microphone and two 1/4" Hi-Z inputs for guitar, bass, or keyboard. The built-in mixer allows you monitor your source via headphones without needing an external power supply.
Use the supplied 3.5mm TRRS cable to connect a smartphone or tablet to the stereo 3.5mm auxiliary input. Plug in headphones to the 3.5mm headphone output, then play along with music from your device. Front-mounted controls deliver simple control over level and panning adjustments.
