The Yamaha YTS280 will give you the best possible start on the tenor saxophone. As expected from Yamaha, the intonation is perfect, and it is easy to get a great sound. The neck on the YTS280 has been re-designed so that it gives more strength to the mechanism and therefore making it more durable.

An improved mechanism for the B-C ensures a good seal on the C key and a better, clearer response. The re-design to the thumb rest means it is now adjustable in order to accommodate most hand sizes. This would therefore be a big advantage to students who are wanting to develop their technique and adjust the thumb rest as the player matures.
